Congratulations to CHSPC's newest Eagle Scout!

Xzavier "Z" Harry, senior in the graduating Catholic High of Pointe Coupee Class of 2020, earned the rank of Eagle Scout in February 2020.

To earn the Eagle Scout Rank, the highest advancement rank in Scouting, a Scout must fulfill requirements in the areas of leadership, service, and outdoor skills. The purpose of the requirements is to equip Scouts to be prepared for life now and in the future. Only about 4% of all Scouts earn the Eagle Rank.
Z has been in Scouting since first grade as a member of Cub Scout Pack 66 in New Roads and as a Scout in Troop 66 from 5th to 12th grades. While in the Troop he has served as Den Chief to mentor Cub Scouts in the Pack, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader, the youth leader of the Troop.
He attended the 6 day National Youth Leadership Training and attended the 2017 National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.
For his Eagle Service Project, Z had to plan, develop and lead others in a project to clean and re-stripe a Pointe Coupee Parish Recreation basketball court in New Roads in November 2019.

We congratulate Z on all of his accomplishments while participating in Scouting and are very proud that he is a part of this year’s CHSPC graduating class!
