Jared Mitchell Speaks to Ms. Kathryn's Kindergarten and 3rd Graders

Jared Mitchell, College World Series MVP and LSU football standout, was on campus today speaking to Ms. Kathryn's kindergarten and the 3rd graders. He is the cousin of Cassidy McDonald (K) and Caleb McDowell (3rd). He spoke to the 3rd graders during PE about health, school and fitness as part of the Growing Up Fit Program. Mitchell, who now plays for the Chicago White Sox, answered questions ranging from "How many home runs did you make?' to "What is your favorite vegetable?" He also signed many, many autographs.
