Mother Seton Award
The Mother Seton Award is presented annually to honor one individual within the Home and School community who emulates the qualities and service of Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton for whom the award is named.  It was created to distinguish those individuals whose volunteer service and dedication to home, school, church and community has been exemplary.

The honoree chose this year demonstrates strong Catholic values and a selfless dedication to Catholic schools.  He is an alumnus of Catholic School of Pointe Coupee, serves on the school board, maintenance committee, and SACHS Accreditation committee.  He is a member of St. Ann of Morganza Church Parish, the FSA County board, Pointe Coupee Fireman's board, St. Ann Church Finance Board, and volunteers as an usher and gift bearer.  He is supportive of school educators and administrators and is truly concerned about Catholic morals and the quality of Catholic education in our community.  He is the husband of Jodi Smith Frey and the father of Caleb, Cade, Ryland and Rebecca Frey.

Catholic School of Pointe Coupee and the Home and School Association are proud to announce the 2009-2010 Mother Seton Award recipient as Marty (Marty) Frey.
