CHSPC Alumni Softball Tournament Information
October 13th and 14th

The Double H Club(Hornet Helpers) is proud to announce its first annual alumni co-ed softball tournament. The tournament will be held homecoming weekend!!! What a great time to come out and support your alma mater in addition to spending time with old and new friends!!! There will be food, games, music, and lots of fun for the whole family!!! The money raised from this event will be used for teacher incentives and school improvements!!!

The format for the tournament will be a round robin tournament on Saturday followed by a single elimination tournament on Sunday. Brackets will be determined according to the year of the graduating team. Teams will be divided into two divisions with a championship game between the winners of each division.

Rules:
1. Each class forms a team with graduates and or spouses of graduates from that particular class. Each class may have more than one team in the tournament. If your class does not have enough people for a team they may combine with another class closest to their year or invite parents of current students.
2. Each team must have 6 men and 4 women on the field at all times. Teams can start a game with 9 players, maximum of 5 men. Teams playing with 9 players will be assessed an out where the tenth player would bat. A player may only play on one team and must be on the team's roster at the beginning of the tournament. Teams can play with more than 4 women but not more than 6 men at one time.
3. The batting order must be male/female until the last two men at the end of the lineup. While batting, if the male is walked, the female may choose to walk also. Each batter will start with a 1 ball, 1 strike count.
4. No ice chests brought into the park.
5. Teams are responsible for their own uniforms.

There will be hamburgers, jambalaya, cold drinks, snacks, and adult beverages!!!

Each team should have a team captain that is responsible for collecting the money from the players and for filling out the entry form. The entry form and money should be sent in by October 8th!!!
